Project #4 One church in every District and Commune of Haiti
Many churches have suffered in Haiti because of economic and security crises as well as hurricanes, floods, and improvised buildings. Frequently, ministers and other church workers who are able to obtain visas to other countries will permanently relocate outside of Haiti, creating a lack of ministers and staff for the local churches. Community churches provide Christian education, teach important values, and impart the fundamental concepts of the Christian faith. Christians need to understand that they must turn their faith and blessings into opportunities to work and serve together and be agents of positive change in their communities and throughout the country. Churches are an important link in bringing unity and reconciliation to Haiti. Our goal is to establish ten churches in each department of Haiti.
